She is fully grown, 6 y.o and looks the same durijng a molt, except she has more pin feathers of course, but after he rmolt, she is the same. I wonder if its a vitamin defiency. She was on a all seed diet and ate *some* human foods, but mainly seed. Now she eats fruity zupreem, harrisons, and all natural zupreem. Doesnt like the lefebers or roudybush.
They are not unfortunalty suotable for companions. Rosie WAS handfed as a baby, but then she was boughten for being a cage bird, in a small. SMALL oranment round cage, someone rescued her from that, tamed her down, and well 6 years later got too old to care for her, and I have has her for a few months now.
She is NOT handable, completely wild. It took her a while without freaking out eachtime I cage near her cage.
They are very flighty, and I have to agree aviary birds for sure. WATCH OUT they think they are hyacinth macaws HAHA. Rosie will go after Pua my Red Lored Amazon. Yikes! And if you get one do not let them free fly around smaller birds. If you get pairs, make sure you introuce them to each WHILE IN DIFFERENT CAGES. 4-12" space between cages. They can really kill another bird with their attitude.
