This little one was wondering to close to the entry way of the nesting box, thats a good 3 ft drop to the floor, Soooooo I brought the little one in.
I am concerned about the beak on this little one, looks alittle (different) if ya know what I mean, Well.....time will tell...

Sadly the beak is a little deformed, but they eat there seed whole, so I don't see a problem in that respect....I will love this little one all the more.
I think I am seeing this little one will have black around his/her eyes.
Time will tell....
Little creep nips at me, just like all of my babies when first brought in.

Well...time for this kid to get some sleep....

The first feeding went well, Holding this little one kinda brings back many memories, The left side of the beak is alittle deformed but the other side is perfect, H/S ate well and the stools appear fine.
No more nipping, guess an empty tummy does the trick...LOL
This is gonna be a fine bird...

aaawwww... another cute baby pigeon.....

There's gonna be black around the eyes, Geeee I can't wait to see this little one when all the feathers are in....
This little one took 1 and a half syringes to fill the crop, this is gonna be another very large bird.
Josh sent me a PM, He is showing interests in the Pigeon, but I think in New York these birds are outlawed, its even against the law there to help a pigeon in need.
Ilegal day and night nettings are a big issue in the city there, the birds are sold to dog trainers, Pigeon shoots, and or resturants....
If the bird of peace didn't live in such a violent world there would be no need for my aggression, I hurt so badly for these birds....

Look forward to the photos updates for the little one. The white Pigeon is breathtaking.

I loved the video about the Pigeon houses in the centre of the city. food management, egg management, dignity for the animals & less illness over all in the end. Hope some of the bigger urban areas are influenced - or even the smaller ones. Perhaps when the Pigeon loses the pest status then they will be protected from being used as fodder.

Day 10, all went well today, Another feeding right before I go to work.
Tommorow more new pictures, I held the little one for over an hour today, such comfort as the mother would offer....I simply am excited to see the colors emerge....
