I am in seventh heaven right now!!! I had Dagwood and Blondie out most of the day, they had lot's of out time and were enjoying themselves, while I sat on the floor and was pouring over some Birdie Cook Books, {Am I hooked or what,LOL!}. I have a problem that when they perch on my arm, their talons tend to pierce my arm, and for some reason it makes my arm really itch. Any way, while I was watching them, I remember what a friend of mine told me he uses when his B&G is on his arm. He uses an old sock that he's cut the toe out of and slides it over his arm. So, I thought, why not! I'll try it and see if it helps. Well, your not going to believe it, but when I went up to Dagwood and sweet talked to him, I asked him to step up and he did!!!! I nearly fainted!!!! He stayed on my arm for the longest time, with out shaking or eye pinning, he was so relaxed! I'm still in shock! LOL! I don't know what I would do without all of you here and being so incredibly kind and helpful. This is the greatest place ever!

That's the best news! You can also wrap an ace bandage around your forearm, that helps with bites and long talons.

Great news! Sounds like everything is going great. My guys absolutely love cooked foods, beans, breads etc. There is never a shortage of ringies wanting to test the food out.
