Yesturday I took a look see and he/she is getting big, hard to say what colors are gonna shine through, next Monday I will bring the little one in and begin hand feeding and taming.
Heather (Tritak) has spoken for this little one, I sure would like to know why only one baby survives, Anyways....next Monday I will start the photo's, maybe this time I will take a photo each day.
I am thinking this mated pair will lay again one more time before winter hits.
But knowing this pair, they have snuck eggs in on me during the bitter winter months, Highly unusual concidering I do not heat the loft.
The roofing company I worked for shut down (no work), so I am looking for a day time job, I am falling further behind, was counting on my roofing job to help catch things up, when bad luck hits it hits hard.
I have spoke to several roofing friends and they are also Idle right now, folks are tight with there money....guess its time to hit the papers and find a new job and give up 27 years of roofing.....this kid is getting old anyways...LOL
I took on the night job stocking shelves for the Home Depot to help catch up my Rescue Debts, now its the only job I have...so things aren't looking so good right now...
Tritak (Heather) has offered to cover the shipping of this little one when the time comes, I think it would be best to take her up on her offer...
I am already breaking a sacred rule (no breeding allowed), might just as well break another and let money become involved...only for shipping...
As long as what I am doing helps to change the way folks look unto the bird of peace....this is all I ask.....I am very grateful to everyone who has stood up and adopted one of my babies, I pray everyone knows how important it is to me to see pictures and kind words they say about there bird of peace, This provide hope for me and them....and this is a good thing...a very very good thing...
Peace.

Sorry to hear about the job (but I would hate to be on a roof in the Minnesota summers-- afraid I would stop to cool off and a giant 'skeeter would carry me away). Wish I still had connections up there and could offer some help. I'm sure things will work out, though! Fingers crossed for you.

I hope you're able to find a good job Arty. Can't wait to see the pictures of this little guy (or girl).

Default hard times

I am looking forward to the photos of this baby. It is wonderful to hear they are finding homes & the message is spreading.

On a personal note:
Wishing you & yours the best thru this hard time. Focus on things that are more suited to you & your needs & hopefully they will lead to a new career. May you be luckier sooner than later.
Try not to despair - focus on what you need to do at the moment, the future is unknown.
