Sadly and as usual only one made it so far that is.
3-4 weeks I will bring the little one in and begin to hand feed and tame.
Please stop in and visit this thread and watch the little one grow.
I can only pray all goes well in the loft.

Am sadened that only one of the two hatched.
So happy for the new little one though.

If no one has offered to provide a good home for this new baby...let me tell you, there is no way to explain how it feels to have Gem with me. I love all my fids each in a special way, however, it is very differant with a pigeon.

You would not believe the loyalty that I feel from Gem.
The peacfull feeling I get sitting outside with him.
Watching him free fly knowing he will not leave me. (only about 10 feet at this point)
I just can't find the right words to tell you all how loving, sweet and beautiful Gem is.
One of you just has to find it in your heart to allow this new baby into your life.

Isn't it just so amazing?? And let me tell you, if you think it's incredible with 1 pigeon...try watching 2 fly around! I think it's about time for a Gem update...complete with pictures of course!
