Denise, I am not a breeder nor do I have interest to become one. I absolutely love seeing everyones progression photos from hatch to fledge. Each and every time I am amazed at how fast they grow.

Same here. Love to watch them grow right on my computer screen.
One or two at a time though so it feels like we have a part in raising them.

I breed mostly sun conures, budgies and one day maybe the ringies will breed.

I love seeing other peoples babies grow. I wish I could post more but without a decent camera and the lack of bandwidth it is not always easy.

Thanks for sharing... I am happy people like to see the babies grow... I love to share that with people who like to see it, but for one reason or another can not breed themselves....

Wow we do have more breeders out there...Angie... I wish you could get yourself a better camera, I would love to see your babies.. As I am sure others would also..

I put up this poll so I could kind of get an idea, how excited people were to hear about the babies...
I would like to put up a post about eggs in nest & chick progression.. Maybe also a weight chart...

What do you all think?
Would breeders mind sharing this info?
Is it too much?

I am in mid winter right now. The ringies are working the nest box.........but they have worked before and done nothing. I think I have to put them in pairs because maybe they don't like a colony. The suns (in pairs) are having a rest and breed from spring into the summer. This past season I got some autumn babies. The budgies (colony) have boxes, only because of the snow, but they are not doing anything right now. They should not be breeding in winter anyhow. I would like to exchange information although I have to say I don't weigh and record that often anymore, only if I think there is a problem. The other part of breeding records, like eggs, hatches and bands I am ok with recording. I did deworm my birds and will be doing the second deworming very shorty. They are still on winter feeding and I will change probably next week, but for sure by the end of July.

Denise you do a great job with your photos & stories.
Like you i think it would be cool to see more people in the other areas doing the same. Brokenwing did a great photo journal of one of his Pigeons. Lots of new Grey owners show us their baby photos with pride - got to love those African Grey babies.
