Default Toys for those Brilliant Boys!

Since PC was down this morning I spent a little time looking at toys and OTHER message boards - see, you all forced me to go visit the other place!
Anyway, I found a couple of toys that I thought were interesting. Anyone have them?

http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Produc...26&N=2003+2035 Zig Zag Bird Toy

http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Produc...+113843+114093 Crazy 8's Bird Toy

I think the thing I'm wondering about most is that they are made from Acrylic, and even though the description says they are indestructable, I wonder if the Cockatoos can destruct them.

I have acrylic stuff, and the suns don't even scratch it. I think it could be indestructable. They can handle a drop from a height better than the other hard plastic that shatters.

The other hard plastic also get chew marks from the suns. Hard baby toys get chewed to re manufacture size pellets.

Ollie has several of those hard acrylic toys and she can barely do any damage to them. I almost ordered that second toy a few days ago but decided on a different one instead... if you get it you'll have to post a review!

Those are cool toys, I have purchased a few myself. They aren't indestructible, but the birds sure do love destroying them.

Lance when you say they are not indestructible, what kind of bird is playing with them? Remember, I have 7 (count em! 7) cockatoos that I am thinking about. I'm afraid they will just crack it like a nut!

Captain Jack? Did you send me a message? It came thru Internet Explorer and I thought it could have been a computer virus or something since I never saw that kind of message before!

It says on the advert that they are for amazon sized birds... I'm guessing that a full sized '2 would make short work of them...

Smile Re: Toys for those Brilliant Boys!

Hi: I have a C-TOO and actually I have tried several acrylic toys and she doesn't care for them. There is one though that did catch her interest. It is round and looks like a maze and you can drop treats into it and she can get them out through various holes. She LOVES toys made of soft pine wood and they are her favorite to destroy. I found a great site that has absolutely terrific and unique toys that are very moderately priced. I just ordered from them again since they were in transition for a couple of months. I was really very satisfied with the value since initially I could not believe the prices. [i]t is called:www.brydland.com. They are based in Las Vegas. I can spend more $$ when I order from them then from some other places because the value is so good.
