Default Bad mood birdie

My god is Silk in a bad mood this morning. Hissed at me when I gave her breakfast and changed her water. I went to get her to step up so I could put her on a playstand for sometime out and she bit me! Eye pinned really fast and bam. It hurt yes, but not as bad as it could have been theres no blood just a real sore index finger. I even tried offering her treats, but nope I get a flat stare. Everybody else couldn't wait to get out of their cages, but Silk is sitting in hers with the door open glaring at me. I wonder what is up her feathered butt this morning?

Katie, sorry to hear Silk is having a rough day and taking it out on you. I think it hurts our feelings more than the bite, blood and bruise does.

I had a similar incident the other day like that myself. I know mine was due to hormones but it was so sudden and shocking when it happened.

I have a word for them on days like that CRUMPY (Grumpy & Cranky)

Ms Silk is in a much better mood today (and was well behaved yesterday too). I think she just woke up on the wrong side of the perch lol. I don't think it was hormones or not enough sleep, because everybody else was fine, Pepper is the same age as Silk and they share a cage and she was her normal (normal for Pepper anyways) self.
Karen crumpy was the perfect word for Silk's mood. I will be saving that for future reference.

Silk is usually the sweetest girl. Pepper is the one who gives me the most greif lol.

Silk after a morning dip

Give me a scritch

And a handsome Biscuit, I am seeing shades around his neck (either that or I am staring at it just to hard and my eyes are going blurry). What do you think, he's not even a year old yet so I am most likely just seeing thing

I think you are seeing things except for the shadow ring. I am glad she is feeling much better today. She sure is gorgeous - not that I am biased or anything.

Gayla - you are definitely not the only one. Don't forget my Pissy Kissy! he can be such an evil bird, but he is just so cute doing it!

He is getting darker on his mono brow though, a few fine black hair there. Noboddy else here has though, Silk or Pepper or Ollie. Lol Biscuit gets pissy for me just pointing the camera at him, he used to be a real camera ham.
