I am helping to place a female budgie, Suzy Q, into a new home due to her owner passing away. She is temporarily residing with her previous owner's daughter, who is apparently very allergic to her, and needs to place her into a new home.

Suzy Q is approximately 2 years old, fully flighted, living alone as a single budgie, and appears to be in good feather (judging only from photos thus far). At this time I do not know if she is hand tame, but I am trying to find out more details, such as tameness, diet, etc. She will come with her cage and all supplies.

She is currently located in White Lake, Michigan. Our goal is to have her placed into a new home directly, but if need be, my husband and I will be fostering her at our house, which is near Toledo, OH, until we can find her a good home.

If anyone is interested, please PM me and I will answer any questions to the best of my knowledge. Please help us find Suzy Q a loving home where she is well taken care of and cherished - my heart goes out to her for having lost her owner.

I hope I can find her a good home. Dave and I feel that we are at a limit with Jerry, Lulu, and Winston. And Winston is still coming out of his shell, and we are also very hesitant about adding a female budgie to the mix - the thought of babies scares me!! But we have agreed to use our resources to try and place her into a new loving home - she looks well taken care of, in good feather, and has a decent cage with toys.

The Parakeet stormed into my world, they pack such a BIG BIRD personality.
We also recently took in a Loner, we also have a very similar cage as the one shown, simply not enough room to allow these little birds flight.
We have many of these little Gems here, and a very large in-flight cage, I wish we were closer so we could take this little bird in.

she is a cutie for sure. i hope you get a home for her....

No ads placed thus far in newspapers or anything - I've posted this on 2 internet boards and contacted a couple people at my avian vet clinic. They know nothing about birds and are going through us first since we have resources such as boards like this - they would like to find someone with bird experience who is dedicated.

What a pretty little budgie. I hope he finds a forever home soon.
