Default Pronunciation

How do you caique owners (and non-caique owners) pronounce "caique"?
This website has a small list of pronunciations:

Pronunciations
kye-eek - Listen
kike - Listen
kAk - Listen Yes, this one sounds just like cake.
Caique Info

I have always pronounced it as the last example (kAk, like cake) but I was told I was pronouncing it wrong...

I always thought it was pronounced like 'cake.' But then was told it was more like 'kike.' Now I just refrain from ever saying it out loud in front of anybody so I don't look like a doofus!

I have found that most people pronounce it "kay - eek." However, in Florida, I notice everyone says "kake"

I don't think refraining yourself from saying that helps

This is how I say it as well, and have heard others say it.

To be honest, I never have heard anyone say it. so in my mind I always pronounced it like "kack." I wasn't even close.
P.S. Glider you made me laugh this morning. Good job.
