Question Dyeing wood and rope

Hi all, can you please tell me how to dye the wooden toy pieces and cotton rope for bird safe toys? I'm in the hoopball homestretch! Thanks!

I am new at this.

but did hear of soaking perches in lemon juice. DONT KNOW ABOUT DYING THEM THOUGH..

I AMM SURE SOMEONE WILL HAVE SOME GOOD ADVISE FOR YA...... CONGRATS TOO BY THE WAY ON THE WEEEE ONE.......

I dye my toys with food colouring, just be sure it safe stuff

I use kool aid to dye wood toys. I soak them overnight and they are bright in the morning!

If I dyed my own stuff, this is what I would use: Vitacritter - Exquisite Colourant Toy Color Concentrates. I've heard nothing but excellent reviews.
