Average CAG weight?

Hi all. Zakiya is 3 months old and weighs 462 grams. What is the average range for cags? What do your full grown cags weigh? Thanks all!

They vary in from 12-14" from beak to tail, also can vary in weight between 400-650 grams depending on the frame of the individual bird.

Ollie is on the small side at 435 grams. There is a CAG in a pet store in my town and he weighs a whopping 670 grams! He looks like a mammoth compared to my girl!

I have a weight schedule for most birds from my vet - the average weight of an adult CAG is 554 grams. Hope this helps!

We have our babies come back for weigh-ins. They usually range from about 425 to 560 grams. However, one came back a couple of weeks ago who weighed in at 625 grams!

Holy smokes Kathie - 670grms that is definitely one big boy! I know we're talking CAGS here, but my DYH zon, Gabby, just had her check up and weighed in at 692 grms! We grow em big here in the country!!
