#1 | | | Aviary Toys I have been on the search for toys that hold up well for outside use. Last year I ran into mold on wood and rope toys. I'll be eliminating that kind this year. I'm looking for the wash and dry quickly kind.
I have found some acrylic toys that I think will do well outside: T-Puzzle A clear thick acrylic rod with colorful cross-pieces that trap two Marabella rings. They move tantalizingly, but they won't come off! A favorite with African Greys. The T-Puzzle hangs 10" long and is 4" across, and the acrylic cleans easily and lasts almost forever. https://www.shop.babybirdfarm.com/di...&categoryId=26 Indestructi-Bell (large) The first truly bird-proof bell. The silver liberty bell is safely encased in Lexan, the material used to make bullet-proof glass. There are tiny holes in the bottom so that your bird can enjoy the ringing sound, and there's even a small handle under it for him to grab to shake it.
The large size can stand up even to a Macaw or a Cockatoo. It hangs 12.5" and is 5" across. https://www.shop.babybirdfarm.com/di...&categoryId=26
along with Kelly's toy: The Jumbo Orbit Toy is perhaps the ultimate in fascination for an African Grey, an Amazon, or a similar sized bird. If features a chew-resistant Nylon ball with a rattle trapped inside. Surrounding it are three rings, or obits, each featuring four grooved moving beads. With all these moving parts, your bird will spend many happy hours with this toy, It hangs sixteen and a half inches and is about seven and a half inches across.
and this one I found this morning: Three Rainbow Balls Toy The Three Rainbow Balls toy features three Nylon chew-resistant balls hung on plastic chain. Each ball contains a rattle to entice your bird, and the balls clatter together if your bird pulls on one or gives them a punch with his beak. All in all, the Three Rainbow Balls toy is sure to please a larger parrot. The toy hangs 12" long and is about 7" wide. The balls are about 4" each in diameter. This toy will be enjoyed by a Cockatoo or a Macaw. https://www.shop.babybirdfarm.com/di...&categoryId=26
If anyone has any other suggestions I'd love to keep shopping, Thanks! |

oh, and wheres your hoopball?
| I was going to ask you guys to make me
one!!
I really should get the supplies and give it a try.
I bought a 6 pack of the rattle balls from our local bird store (they look just like the ones in the Rainbow Balls toy) and added some doo-dads and hung them with the acrylic chain and Kita just loves them. But they're plastic and one bite and they're gone. Pretty much the same with the 1.00 Kiddie toys, they last 2.2 seconds.
I am going to see how this Rainbow toy one is made it says; Nylon chew-resistant balls so we'll see if they hold up. |

Really going to town on it too. It looked liked he couldnt really break it or tear it. Maybe I should check it out then. My guys go through the plastic balls in an hour. |
