Default Question: who has outgoing birds?

Of your flock, how many will instantly take to someone new (stranger)? My BF used to have a bird that would walk right up to anyone (the bird died, unfortunately). We now have three minis that are primarily my responsibility, and only one, my Hahns, will tentatively go to someone new (without nipping). The BF likes to say that this is because I spoil them, but I'm not so sure its a parrot's nature to stroll on over and kiss everyone who passes them by. Any one else have comments?

My U2, Izzy, loves everyone. She will not hesitate to go to a stranger. I don't think there is a shy bone in that bird!!

Both of my toos will too. My U2 and my M2. Rico's really eager to go to a stranger. Kinda looks at them like they are his next meal!

this is an iffy one. both sassy and cuddles are sorta of leary at first but it seems that sassy is the first to accept strangers.

As my CAG Bubba is getting older, he is becomming more accepting of other people. He just has to warm up to them first.

Ollie (CAG) will go to anybody that I ask her to. She'll usually remain cautious though. Sometimes she is eager to go to people- it seems the people who ignore her and remain somewhat aloof are the ones she is most willing to grant with her presence.

Dakota (tiel) loves only my mom. He hisses and bites most everybody else unless he's in a really good mood.

Kirby loves people. I think he assumes that anyone who comes to the house - only came to visit him. As soon as he sees someone new he starts saying "step up" repeatedly and sometimes starts doing his dog squeaky toy imitation. He's usually more than willing to step up for anyone.

Our Caninde, Mango will go to anyone. He is the most friendly bird we have. He lays over on his back in the palm of a strangers hand! We took him to an Assisted Living home so that the older residents could interact with him. They loved it!

Doyle loves everyone! And he is pretty mischievous so he will take any opportunity to climb on someone and explore, lol.

valo loves me, and me alone... he's (unfortunately) only snuggly and cute with me, though he sometimes will sit with strangers without problems OUTSIDE of his territory.... bella is better, but she's not too keen on women since she currently lives in an all-male household

though i'm not supposed to laugh, it sometimes cracks me up to watch him - there's this 68g little birdie sitting on my shoulder, puffing up around the neck and signaling the 100kg tall, muscular human man "to bring it on" (granted, everybody has respect for valo LOL )
