Just wondering if everything is okay with your new little friend?

I was just getting ready to post an update for you Arty!

Mira is doing great. I haven't been able to spend a whole lot of time with her due to finals and starting a new job, but my dad is busy falling in love with her! Mollie is starting to be a little nicer to her, but they can't be left alone together. My dad has been letting them out to fly about every day, and while Mollie will go off and do his own thing, my dad and Mira will play a little game of their own. He'll put her on the fence and back away and she'll fly to him. So he'll take her back to the fence, then back up a little further. I told him that its so great he's teaching her to recall, and he was like "what? we're just playing!" Whatever it is- they're both having fun!

Hey, Thanks for the update, I am pleased to hear all is well.
Two more baby Pigeons were brought to me, I am hand feeding them and hopefully a successfull release soon.
Its been very windy here so I haven't been working my day job as a commercial roofer so I am online more than normal.
I am happy to hear your father and Mira are getting along okay.

Congrats Camille! I never was a fan of Pigeons but yours are gorgeous.

Not many people are...they don't realize how incredibly sweet and smart they are. They make great pets!

Mira was hand fed, now she is being trained to fly by a human, fun fun fun.

I am so very happy for Mira and its sounds like your father is becoming very attached to Mira, she will wish to be with him almost all the time, I hope he realizes the friendship he is building, Mira will more than likely want to be by his side all the time if not Most of the time.
I release many Pigeons back into the wild here so human contact is kept low, but Mira was Sooooo pretty, she called on me to hold her and become attached, I simply couldn't resist her beauty and charm.
Please tell your Father Thank you for me, I admire his intentions so very much.
Mira is a cross breed so I hope she flies well.

He said its hard to leave her in her cage. She doesn't want to get off of him, and he has a hard time walking away from her pitiful squeaks! I will tell him Arty. And oh my gosh, I just realized I haven't mailed your box back yet! I just started a new job so things have been a little crazy. I'll get it mailed at the beginning of next week, promise!

You are such a sweety, don't worry about the box, there is no hurry, you take care of Camille first...ya hear...?
The little squeaks will end soon enough as Mira matures, then your Father will notice her pacing back and forth trying to get to him.
This is all overwhelming for me, I am so very pleased by the relationship between Mira and your Father, I think your Father enjoys being with Mira just as much.

I have already ordered a few more boxes and just in time, I have to ship one out to Sturgeon, Mn to have a Racer sent to me, seems the owner doesn't want his bird back and won't pay to have the bird shipped to him, This is a good thing for me, cause my heart is always open to the Pigeon.
