Default Chipper is Not happy...

Well, my gram got a Ficher's lovebird that she loves. This bird is a total sweet heart (we are working on a name- any suggestions?) Well, Chipper is not a happy camper. He/She tries to bite at him/her and is really territorial. Any ideas on how to help this? Right now, their cages are next to each other, and the Ficher's is such a baby sweet heart- so interested and curious. I am worried she could get hurt...

sometimes birds don't warm up to each other. Cricket is the first to play with Benji. Sophie doesn't like him anymore because he won't mate with her. I'm guessing anyway........ lol

Is there any way they can interact in neutral territory? Sometimes birds can be protective and territorial when they're in their cages.

Well, we have a table top playstand. Will that work? The only problem is that Chipper is not exactly handlable, so it is very difficulat to get him out. He is also somewhat afraid of the stand. I am just worried that Chipper will attack the Ficher's and hurt her. She is smaller than he is and much less agressive.

Thanks for the ideas! I will try to getthem in neutral territory this weekend, so we'll see!
