This picture was taken between 9 and 10 years ago! I was 11ish and he wasn't even a year old yet. It's not a great picture, but its one of the very few I have located of him from that long ago.

Edit: Just noticed the cage behind my head. Don't worry, that wasn't his! I was birdsitting a budgie for a friend at the time and the poor thing had the tiniest cage ever.

Cute pict, Camille. I wish I was introduced to parrots as a kid. Boy did I miss out on a lot of years.

Not to make myself older than I already am but back in my younger years Parrots were not available, one could find finches and canaries and turtles, but no Parakeets and or Tiels and so on.
In todays time the Keet and Tiel are concidered throw away birds and by all means they are as I see almost every humane society and animal shelter have several if not more looking for a forever home.
You were are sweetheart back then and you are still a sweetheart now Camille, and Dakota, well Dakota is a handsome bird that has been well cared for.
