LAST NIGHT ROBIN CALLED ME AND SHE SAID THEY ARE SURE THEY FOUND THE OWNER OF THE GREY. HER MOTHER HELPS AT A SHELTER AND SOMEONE TOLD HER THAT PEOPLE HAD LOST AN AFRICAN GREY PARROT, AND THAT SOMEONE HAD SEEN IT IN A PARK NEAR ED & ROBIN’S HOUSE. ROBIN CALLED THE PEOPLE AND THE PERSON SAID IT WAS HER GRANDFATHER’S BIRD AND THAT IT WAS ***************(the distingishing marks I mentioned), ETC…. ….SO MOST LIKELY IT IS THE GRANFATHER’S BIRD.

Hey Lisa - remember last year we had three greys turned in to BP that were lost. We found the owners for two and the third we gave to one of our customers (actually one of our members here) after 2 months at the store with no luck finding his owner. Well, guess what - one of the SAME birds that we found went missing last Sunday again!! I got a call on Friday from someone saying they found a grey - IT WAS THE SAME BIRD THAT WE REUNITED LAST YEAR!!! It was found two towns away!

Thought I would share that with you. I know you played an integral part in trying to help find the owners of these lost birds.

Wow, that bird was a lucky one to make it through two tours of being in the wild here in NJ!
Guess the owners didnt learn any lessons the first time around......

She had him out on her screened in porch with her new puppy. The new puppy likes to chew. Unknown to her, he chewed a hole in the screen and out went the bird!
