Default Flight size Aviary?

Does anyone know what a proper flight size aviary should be for a Macaw. Also, what would be the best way to set it up? Would some landing platforms be beneficial? I was also wondering if I should design a perch tree where there would be several perches (like a real tree would have) for landing?

The book "The Large Macaws" has a great section on flight aviaries.... I don't have it with me right now, so hopefully someone else can chime in with the book's recommendations.

IMO, the largest flight-size-aviary one can afford and/or have room for. I read somewhere once that it was thought to be cruel to keep a MaCaw in anything less than a 20ft. long aviary but IMO, even that is too small in length.

Actually IMO (even though it will be unpopular), most people should not even own/keep MaCaws period - unless they can provide exactly that = huge full flight aviaries.
