Looks like a fine setup! Only thing I'd suggest is if he seems a bit clumsy at first, you could pad the bottom of the cage with towels covered by newspaper. I've heard Cags can be clumsy babies, would assume Tags could be too?

other than what nate said, i have nothing to add - besides maybe, that it looks like a really nice cage to me your baby will love it.... (and you're all set up 10days early - my respect)

Your baby might like a cozy tent to sleep in. If you add one, consider hanging it near a perch for easy access.

It looks really great, I am sure your bubba will love it.
Does anyone's fids actually sleep in the cozy tents? Mine just use them as places to perch on ..... and poop on

Our smaller birds sleep in them. They are hung really high in the cage so they can enter it from their perch. Our Hawkheads sleep together with one head hanging out the front and the other out the back!

Doyle sleeps in his tent everynight. Scarlett slept in hers at the breeders, but not anymore.

The cage looks great! Scarlett was very clumsy when she first came home, so you may have to watch your little guy and move the perches a little lower until he is better on his feet. Good luck! I bet you're so excited!

Don't know, but a google turned up this site: Pet Bird Boings, Parrot Toy Parts Perches - Boing Accessories For Birds

Colored Boings and other neat stuff too! It's a Manitoba, Canada company that I'd never run across before. Be still, my mastercard!
