I had been getting very mixed reviews about the Parrot Tower Junior (clickable) so when I was searching for a moderatley inexpensive tree, I decided to buy it.

The birds DO NOT LIKE IT. They just sit on it, in one place, until they get bored and beg me to take them off. A total waste of $280, because I can't even return it.

Just wanted to warn you all.

Ollie has a Parrot Tower, the tabletop version, and she doesn't like it either. It stays at my parent's house for us to use when we're there- its easy to clean, so I feed her on it. She won't play on it, and she flies off as soon as she's done eating. Maybe if she didn't have so many other better gyms, she would like it.

I have heard that those Towers need lots of extra help to make them useful. IMO, the perch design placement was not well thought out and extra boings and ropes and such need to be put in place so the bird can navigate them.

Well if you can do what Gayla did to it, a smaller bird like Pita would love it!! That looks great Gayla.

I had one given to me, and my conure was afraid of it, she would freak out trying to get away from it. Fred and Billy would only sit on the top perches, as would our other ringnecks, and poop all over everything underneath of them. I ended up giving it away.

gayla, are you sure that's the same play-stand looks so different...

Oh yeah....I'm looking at it right now...lol Of course I've done some redecorating since these pics were taken......sort of added on......the toy you made Pita is on there now, and some various hangy things....lol
