Default Is pickle okay?

I've never seen it on an okay, or a not okay list. Is a nibble of dill pickle okay every now and then?

I dont know Camille. My gut on that one is too much vinegar and sodium absorbed into it. And then theres the garlic. I think I would personally pass on giving this but maybe someone else will have input!

I have never seen it on a "Do Not Feed" list, however, I think that they are too high in sodium to feed to a bird.

Too much salt, but with anything a small nibble would not hurt. A meal would be a bad thing. It is not like it is pickled avo. Cider viniger would be better than spirit viniger.

I would think small amounts would be ok, but I am also concerned about the amount of salt contained in the pickles. Salt is an important part of the preservation process along with the vinegar. I don't think the vinegar would be a particular problem. Do your birds LIKE pickles? I would have thought them too sour.

Ollie seems to really like pickle. I was shocked too. She's only had some 2 or 3 times. She won't get more than just the occasional nibble.
