I'm not the only one that laughs when my birds do something they shouldn't do....am I?
Kita has been sitting on an egg that she's being very protective about. She's just now letting me get her away from the cage for short periods of time. I had her 2 rooms away from her cage and we were playing. She was showing signs that she wanted to get back to her cage. So I told my husband that I was going to put her on the floor and let her walk back to her cage for some exercise.
I put her down and she started hurrying back to her cage. I was already giggling, cause you just have to love her little pigeon toed walk. Anyway, my husband was standing in front of the sink...minding his own business, when all of a sudden my sweet little macaw turned into the roadrunner!!

She turned toward my husband and started running toward him, he threw himself up and onto the kitchen counter!
Envision a full grown man, ON the kitchen counter on his hands and knees, staring down at the 3lb. bird....Please tell me that as I was standing there laughing so hard I was crying that I'm not the only one....
What's your story?
