Default Tea Tree Oil

I have read that Tea Tree Oil is the best healing ointment out there for bird bites. Has anyone tried it? My poor hands are so scarred from Alex, and now Afa. Alex bit my face Saturday night and left a pretty good nick below my cheek. Then he got the corner of my eye, which was a very close call. I thought of trying to find the product but was hoping for a testimonial. Anyone??

tea tree oil is often used for problematic facial skin to help with healing blemishes... so therefore, i'd say it should be helpful with birdie bites too.... vit e oil also helps heal skin and avoid scaring... (i personally prefer tea tree oil. but that's a matter of taste i guess)

Where do you get it? If its online, would you mind sharing the link?

Im trying to remember where I read about it originally. But the person said its like miracle ointment. That it takes away the pain quickly and heals the wound with minimal scars. Have you ever had a bad bite from a Hy? I cant imagine that beak coming down on my flesh!!

It works well. I use neosporin for bites initially but the tree tea oil after. I also use it on my feet, and it helps heal the cracks I get at the heel.

I got it from Garden Botanika initially (that was many years ago)--I think the company is out of business. The last time I got it was through http://iherbman.com. A little goes a long way.
