What's that you say? That's no alex? Yep, do to reasons I won't go into I won't be bringing home an Alexandrine, but I was offered an Eclectus parrot and have leapt at the chance. She won't be weaned for another 9 weeks (she's only 5 weeks now), so that gives me 2 and a bit months to cram as much eckie knowledge into my brain before she comes home.

I am trying not to jinx myself (am having a really crappy time when it comes to bringing new fids home) but am thinking of mythical names for her, seeing as though she is going to be a redhead I was thinking of Phoenix-type names? Whatdayathink? Please keep your fingers crossed for me, any spare good luck you have lying around the place send it my way

Okay....thought you had lost the last marble! Whew. What a cutie. Think I would name her Tucson just to avoid Phoenix (sorry, bad Arizona humor -- actually I kinda like Sedona for a name). I bet she will let you know her name....just not another Jasmine, cuz I get confused about whose I am talking about already!
