Jack just ate a little bit of my mom's philodendron!!!! It is on the unsafe list!!!!! WHAT DO I DO?!?!?!? He ate a bunch of his pellets afterwords and drank water. This is what one website said will happen to animals: oral irritation, intense burning and irritation of the mouth, lips, tongue, excessive drooling, vomiting, difficulty in swallowing.


Can I give him anything to help? Please please help!!!

Slow down a minute and take a breath! Call the local emergency vet and seek advice. Do you know how much he ate? He's a big boy and it may take quite a bit to make him sick. But the first thing you need to do is get a vet on the line and talk to them. Unless he ate an entire leaf, I doubt he's in any danger but don't take a chance.
