Default Lookie who visited!

Hello everyone,
Last night I "babysat" my friends Green Cheek Conure. Her name is Pickles and she's the sweetest little thing ever! Pickles does not like my friend at all! (my friend likes to spend more time with her Tiels and dogs than with Pickles) There are a lot of times when my friend yells and disaplines Pickles. I think this is the reason why Pickles bites her and just does like her. If I really wanted Pickles my friend would give her to me. But the thing is I have a 4 month old TAG coming the end of May. I want to give my baby TAG as much attention as possible. But then again I feel so horrible for little Pickles being stuck in "hell" with my friend.

When Pickles is at my apt she is so happy. She just loves to snuggle up in my hair! It's so cute! She also loves to eat veggies and fruits when she is here. My friend has her on a all seed diet. She doesn't understand that birds should have fruits and veggies in their diets. I've tried to correct my friend on SO many different things when it comes to birds. Like disaplining, yelling, clipping, diet, and a lot more. She just won't listen. . . .

So I guess my solution is to take little Pickles in and just keep her myself! Or maybe I could get my mother to take her. She just lost my dad a year ago and should could use the company. I'm sure of it! Another idea: my sister also loves birds and she was thinking about getting a Sun. Pickles isn't a Sun but she's very close to it! lol

All I know is that the little girl can't stay with my friend. What do all of you think?

I'm a dangerous one to ask that question to, as I'd so love to take them all in. GCCs are delightful, sweet, funny, ornery little ones. You're the only one who knows your limitations and can decide if Pickles should be with you, but it does sound like she needs a new nesting place.

Take her take her take her!!! Pleaseeeeee Kris! That would be one lucky GCC! Plus they are just the cutest! Trust me, if you can properly take care of one, then you can take care of two!

I think that Pickles picked you. So you have to take her now! It would be nice if your mother wanted her and they hit it off, however, if she doesn't like your mother as much as you, I think you have to take her. Fate my dear. Everything will work out. While having one bird is a total delight, two is Heaven! There will be room for all!! Follow your heart, it won't steer you wrong.

I think ALL of you are right! She picked me. My friend did tell me that Pickles had never acted so nice and loving around anyone before. Plus, when I told my BF about my idea to see if my sis or mom wanted the little girl he said "that's a good idea but. . . why don't we just keep her!" Right then I knew my mind was made up (about an hour ago). I'm so happy about the whole thing! Pickles just loves my BF too! I think she feels at home here. Another thing, where ever I go in the apt the little bird follows right behind me! I just love this feeling of helping a poor little innocent birdie!

We're going to my sister's today and I believe we will take our new fid!

Oh there are many many more pics to come for you guys!!
