i am geting strange noises from peeweet and i do not know what it is can you help me but none of the a there budgies are doing it , she is not sick.

Can you describe the noise? Or is there a certain time that she does this noise? Budgies are famous for mimicking, is it any household noise that she might have picked up? Jerry does this series of different toned beeps when we're playing with him, we think it might be from hearing us dialing our house telephone as those beeps are loud and of various tones for different numbers.

no peeweet is not makeing household sound it sounds almust like a telephone but we do not have a telephone it also sounds like a door.

As Sarah said - they do have the ability to mimic & also to just make the most amazing sounds.

Another Budgie person was saying their bird was kind of beeping & couldn't figure it out until one day this delivery truck was backing up & she heard the beeping sound.

Peewee is practicing a new sound again. She wimpers like a puppy, creaks a door and calls sun conure. She is also beeping, mimicing what I have no idea yet. She also strings her sounds together which makes it confusing.

If Peewee is young then you may have a talker.
It would be fun to keep a journal of the sounds as they happened, to see how thing evolve.

I wish we could record her, but she mostly does in private and you never know when. She is this seasons baby. She does love Michaela a lot.

Guess what thews strange noises were she was trying to say torn off the light and close the door she can talk now she torn of the light and close the door and she says go away leave me.

That is so cute! I'm glad you were able to figure out what she was trying to say. Sometimes they have to practice it a bit before it comes out so we can understand.

How funny! My fids all copy each other, so I can almost never figure out who is "talking". Syd and Magellan can make sounds that nobody else can quite do...but the rest..... all bets are off.
