I'm wondering if anyone here has a peach front conure. at some time in the future I would like to get 1 & I'm looking for info. What are their personalities, etc.`

Sorry - can't think of anyone that does. I briefly looked into getting one before I got Cosmo and Zoey. But I couldn't find any breeders around here so I decided on a green cheek.

I was going to adopt a peach front, but we have kids in the household that were too young for the adoption requirements. I was told they are quieter conures and sweet.

They're still tightly held by private breeders here, however, I know of one of my birdy contacts getting some so look forward to seeing them. They look gorgeous in pictures I've seen.
From my conure book...they're less noisy and less destructive then suns, very intelligent and capable of imitating human speech. They need to be handled on a daily basis to keep them from becoming nippy. (cited "A Guide to..Popular Conures" ABK Publications 2001)ok, that takes care of any copyright issues.
