Well the kids are on Spring Break today and tomorrow. We decided to go to my friend's pet store since we hadn't been in quite awhile. (it's about 40 min. from our house so we don't go that often) It was her day off, so we missed seeing her. But she had a lot of good stuff in! Apparently she had recently been to some bird show in Cincinnati. She had lots of great toys in and several new cages. I was surprised at the prices on a few of the cages -because I thought they were pretty low $175. I told the worker that I was tempted to take one of them home - so he said - if you take it today - you can have it for $150. So Zoey got a new cage! I had been planning on eventually moving her into a bigger/better cage - but since we just ordered Skittles a new cage - I was planning on waiting awhile. But it just seemed like too good of a deal to pass up! It's hard to tell in the pictures - but it's a pretty dark green color. It has a playtop - but I haven't decided if I'm going to put it on or just leave it off. Now I need to get her a few more perches!

Cosmo got a new, big cage right after he got out of quarantine cause he was here first! So don't worry - he's not being neglected! Actually though - I think he was kind of confused - because usually as soon as I let Zoey out of her cage - she goes to his cage area and hangs out with him there. But she wouldn't leave her new cage after I let her out! I think she was having too much fun exploring! Cosmo kept flying over to her cage, he would bite her, then fly back to his cage and look at her. I think he was jealous that she was more interested in her new cage than she was in him.
