OK, everyone ... I need some input

We've been wanting another fid for some time now, and I've pretty much decided a Sennie would be perfect. I really liked the looks of the bird farm I visited last night - and they breed them there - so finding one is no problem at all.

So, the "suggested" size cage is 18X18X18. But I know that that's probably the minimum. What size do you all house your Sennies in ?

How about their diet? I know I could sit here and research - but I'd rather get my info firsthand from those who actually care for these guys.

Anything else you think I need to know ... lay it on me !

Zoey's first cage was 18 x 18 x 24. She loved it. In fact it took two attempts to move her into a larger cage. She is now in a home made cage 21 x 22 x 35. For the first year I had her she ate whatever pellets I got for her from the pet store I got her from. It was a fruity colored blend. When my Ekkie came home and my search for proper care expanded and went wild here on the information super highway, Zoey now eats the same as my Ekkie. Natural pellets like Golden'obles or the Ultimate blend (a favorite) from Bird Paradise. I also serve a veggie/bean mash the she loves. Birdy bread (Gini's as well as home made) and sprouts every day at 5 PM!
Zoey isn't a real picky eater.
