Hi Im new here ,im Cynthia ,live in Kona Hawaii and i have two fids Poncho a 20 month old male green wing macaw(had him since he was 6 months) and Mini Aiko a new 4 month old female timneh african grey .I love to talk/learn about birds ,bird stories and funny stuff they do ,also i tend ask alot of questions .Glad to have found this place!

Aloha Cynthia!! Welcome to ParrotChatter! My husband and I were in Kona a couple years ago, it was beautiful! We rented a car and drove all over the place and saw the lava at Kilaeua (spelling?) It was just awesome!

Those are very sweet 'baby' photos! What's the story behind getting these 2 so close together & yet such different types of birds? Are you training them or planning on taking them out with a harness? ~ You know the usual snoopy questions we all want the answers to.

Would love to see Hawaii some day! - my husband says it's worth the long flight! Have you lived there always?
