|  Thanks for all the help! Meet my new boy! I just wanted everyone to know that they were extremely helpful and gracious for all the advice. Someday I look forward to owning a macaw but for right now I am still getting to know the beautiful birds and understand them. I actually just today was at the bird store and found a scarlet, none the less, that attached to me, but I am still not ready to own one. For some reason I walked over to the cockatiels and was looking at them, and saw a beautiful white headed tiel. I caught him right away and immediately he warmed up to me. He was hand fed since born at the store, but had not had a ton of interaction. But he adjusted fast, and well needless to say... I BOUGHT HIM! AHH!! I am very excited about my new boy he loves to be on my shoulder and loves eating my fiances zipper... well... everything for that matter, including my hair and earrings  . He is just a sweetheart! I just hope he adjusts well. He and my budgie Broadway get along great, which is a relief!! His name is Sparky and he's definitely a sparky fella!! Thanks everyone again and someday all your advice will definitely come in handy! My fiance and I really hope to own one in the future, but decided going "big" wasn't good for us right now, so we moved up in size! Best Wishes  Last edited by afckjr; 02-28-2007 at 12:24 AM. | Congrats on your new baby!!! We have a Lutino tiel and LOVE LOVE LOVE him....he is the sweetest thing on earth! You have much more restraint then I do....i would have nabbed that scarlet. But good for you for doing what's best for you. Good luck! | |||||||||||||||||||||
