Default The Parrot Fairy

Anyone else do this?

I just put Pita to bed. I then went down, changed all his food, treats, & water in his big cage. Changed his toys around. Then I came upstairs and cleaned the playstand, changed the water, put fresh treats in his treat bowl.

Now tomorrow when he wakes up, it will be like the when the Tooth Fairy comes and leaves treats under your pillow. I love doing that.

I am The Parrot Fairy....lol Anyone else?

I can't do that either- Ollie also doesn't have a sleeping cage!

Grey's tend to freak out when there is change. You have to show them and explain to them what you're doing. Thank goodness Ollie isn't like that! She is very laid back!

We have customers who buy new toys for their greys and let them see the new toy for a week before they put it in their cage!

Some of ours need time to see their new toys before we put them in their cage and others are OK with a new toy placed in their cage anytime. I doesn't seem to be related to the species, just the personality of the bird. If I move an object in the room, a couple of our birds freak out , others not a problem.

No sleeping cages here either. I have switched toys around while Kirby's in the shower. I need to do all that today - maybe I'll put them on play stands in my room while I redo their cages.

Does the parrot fairy travel? Mine don't have sleeping cages either so I can't do that. They usually watch me change everything around.
