Default the blue brats are here
Picked up my Quakers today. This is Pele and Xuxa. They're just 4 months old and are an unrelated pair. Absolute characters, into everything, definite brats and completely adorable.

Mary, they are adorable!! Now I want a blue Quaker! Hmmmm..........what is cheaper, a RT to Adelaide to steal yours or buy one!

Love the names, you're like me with the ethnic names-Xuxa was on MY list for a future South American bird!!

I'm hooked. They really are funny little buggers. If there's something I don't want them to play with, they'll find it. They are so friendly, but just like toddlers I feel I need to supervise them constantly in case they get into trouble with something. I really didn't want quakers initially because of the sound they make, after doing some research everything I read made them seem like a great companion type bird. I met a few and the personality won me over. The sound isn't that bad. The lorikeets (espiecially when Olly spends half an hour imitating the phone) are much louder and more penetrating.
