Default First the Blanket, Now the Drying Rack

Valo is continuing this successful conquer of my apartment, my stuff, and my heart (of course).

Last night I was taking off the dried cloths from the drying rack, and he hopped onto it and was all over the place... so, since the original plan for the evening was to read work-related stuff and I really didn't wanna do that, I figured I could spend a "few minutes" and hang some toys on there so he can play a bit....

An hour later, I was done... he loves it! (And I don't have a drying rack anymore )

I wanted to show this since it's cheap and easy and he seems to like it a lot.... for larger birds I would suggest something with more stability [sorry the last pic is a little blurry, camera batteries gave up on me]

You might be onto something there! But of course he knew immediately that it was his new play gym! I have that same rack, and I would just have to make sure that the tension rubber bands are in place on mine so that it doesn't collapse while playing on it(but then again, if hanging toys on it like you have there I'll bet that wouldn't be a problem!).

if you look at the bottom of the rack you can see some ropes that are mainly there to make sure the thing doesn't fall to either side... it has sort of hooks on top to avoid collapsing... and those i tightened down.... [and he's such a light weight too]

he won't be playing on it without me being right there... i'd be too concerned, but it's great for when i have to work at home

Bee, I hate to tell you this, but what he really wants to do is chew on those books I see in the background!
