The majority vote from the members that had a decisive opinion, yes or no, regarding the Who's Online feature, shows more members want to have the feature available to them than not. We will honor that decision.

If you feel you will be more comfortable while viewing the forums you may go invisible. Your personal settings are yours. We will not request that you be visible on the board or change your settings.

To use Invisible Mode go to your User CP>Edit Options>Login & Privacy>Check Use Invisible Mode
At the bottom of the screen click on; Save Changes

I don't thing the invisible mode functionality is working. I saved it in my User CP, logged out, logged back in, and I'm still showing up. Also showing up in the other thing where you can see what people are looking at. I think that's a wierd option and a little creepy LOL.

Anyway, the only difference I see is that NOW, my userid has an asterisk next to it. Never there before.

Maybe you have to log out of your whole system and reboot. I'll try that next.

Nope, I rebooted and logging in here and it's still showing me....with the *

Maybe it's a manual table or something that the admin has to update?

Also there's a red dot next to my username on the post that wasnt there before.

Cindy, the asterisk means your invisible. The same with the red dot you're seeing, it's just letting you know what your status is on the board. You can see these things and you see your user ID with the asterisk listed as being online, but regular members cannot.

+ User is on your buddy list
* User is invisible to others
