I am selling an old cage on Craigslist. It is 18x18x24. I got an email from a lady that wanted to know if it was too big for two cockatiels. I told her I thought it would be too small. It is too small right? But then I started wondering what size cage they are in now, maybe it's alot bigger and I should sell it to her even though it isn't perfect for them ya know? What do you think?

It is definitely too small. My male canaries are in cages bigger than that and tiels are three times as big and you are talking two of them. You did the right thing. If the person did not know before, she knows now that cages need to be bigger than that.

I told her I can't sell it to her and gave her the info for the next bird fair, hopefully she finds something bigger soon.
