Jeet, we are moving this to the African Grey Forum for you.

Do you like names that people have or cute funny names? Do you want them to be in your language or English?

Hi again.

Just take your time regarding the names. There are lots of sites the can help you. IE: Behind the Name - the Etymology and History of First Names I short listed a number of names from this site & member's ideas & I asked my family - they had lots of good ideas.

The one thing I like to do when naming a pet - is not to give them a person name. I have found as soon as you do that you meet someone with that name. YOur pet will be confused & perhaps the person will not be amused. Once you know their personalities the name often comes to you ... like 'Pesterment' or 'Annoying Man' [names we call our sons] ...

The most important part of looking after your birds is looking after them

Indian names are lovely - isn't it the way tho that we like the names from other countries.

Leigh - he wants English names!

again - I like names that are descriptive of the look or the personality. They can be a fun name or an endearing one.
Smokey [colour], Sugar [sweet one], Shadow [colour or very quiet type], Bumble [goofy & kind of lost], Gromit [Wallis & Gromit movie fan here! Gromit's the smart one & the pet!], Twitch [tail wagger], Indiana [Indiana Jones type - big adventurer]. How's that for starters?
