Now you can hang this like hoopballs and boings from the ceiling and let them out to play in the room!

What about the floors- is it carpet? If so I would get some tile or wood floors asap. Looks good though! I really wish I would have only bought white cages.

Congrats on the bird room - ours is our bedroom & my painting area.

I love it already - nice cages & room - for me I'd probably move the cages into various patterns to see what works best & try & leave a play area open & away from them. I don't know if you can do that.

Susan has a wonderful room - got to love the paper under the gym look ... wish we could use a strip of lino or something that was as easy to replace. I got some old wallpaper books & have been using them - they are colourful & for a few days you can sweep the stuff off - especially the coated papers.

Congratulations! Your birds will thank your for it.

As to suggestions: yellow walls reflect sunlight best and, as our birds spend their time indoors it's always recommended to make their room as 'sunny' as possible. Full spectrum ceiling fixtures are a must and linoleum or tiled floors work best for cleaning. Aside from that, it's all a matter of getting the right exposure (south and east to west is best) and the right 'decorations' (boings, ropes, swings, natural plants -make sure they are non-poisonous-, ladders, etc).

Thanks oodles guys for your help and suggestions, if ya have any hanging toy ideas I'd love to have them! I've just run dry on ideas. This was our old bedroom, thus the reason for the blue walls. Yepper's it does have carpet which is only a year old, so no ripping that up, I'd be in the doghouse for sure! They has a southern view so lots of sunlight comes in there, which I love! I'm planning on buying some heavy duty plastic to put down in front of the cages, hopefully that will help with the doodles . So, keep those idea's a comin'.

I use office chair floor mats under all the cages here. Works like a charm, easy cleaning and protects the carpet. Remnant Linoleum works well too.
