I am lounging here by my window with Shadow looking out at adorable tiny hummingbirds darting quickly right, left, up, down, backwards, even upside down and peering though my window. I just love watching these little guys sucking nectar from my summer flowers. Thought you might enjoy reading about these guys.

You are so blessed! I am happy you and your Fids have that view! That is some hummer! We get the rather plain ones here. If there is such a thing as a plain one! ha! All that glory in one tiny bird!

I think Hummingbirds are one of the most fascinating and wondrous birds, and I never tire of watching them either, JR. Although not a technically wonderful photo, here's a quick grab from yesterday showing a little lady coming in for a landing at one of our feeders. Conveys a nice sense of motion, anyway.

That's amazing! Really shows how fast those tiny wings can move!
