Default Protein Needs in Mature Birds

I know there's not a whole lot of information out there about Protein requirements...but

Does anyone have any information as to whether a bird requires even less protein as they get older, say up into their 20's and 30's and so on?

Hey there! Don't have a clue. I will check my books tonight. Ruby loves her chicken legs though and she will kill for a little piece of steak.
