Ruby is mad!

I think! She was in a complete stew yesterday and then last night I took her over to the couch right before bed (like we always do) for her cuddles and I am not here if she didn't PECK me! I mean 8-10 PECKS! Her eyes were pinning and she seemed mad as a hornet! What in the world do you all think I did to peeve her?

Don't fret Jess, I think yesterday was the offical mad parrot day!!! Dagwood is ususally such a sweet boy, sit's on Mommy's shoulder and gives kisses and loves, but yesterday out of the blue, he pecked my left cheek, so back to his cage for time out! Who knows what these guys are thinking, sheeeeeezzzzzzz!

i think parrots get moody for no good reason, just like people. i wouldn't take it personally

i agree. It must be the heat Keke was squawking and going on yesterday more than normal. No bites though( thank god). I wouldn't worry to much every birdy has a bad day and is just grumpy. To day it is our little Simon who is out of sorts biting me hard which he doesn't do normally. It is always hard on us when they do things out of the ordinary

Jack just did that to me when I got home from work. He usually is quite eager to get out of the cage. He didn't peck me, but he sure let me know he was unhappy with me. I think it was due the long weekend......Friday - Monday.......he got spoiled with Mom home. Had to go back today, unfortunately!
