Well...good news today. She is totally feeling better...she slept on the couch in the playroom all last night...no wandering around. The pills are making her tired, that is for sure. But her skin is no longer red or hot..and we are only on the 3rd dose!! I am soooo happy to see her feeling more comfortable. I don't like her sleeping all the time...but I'll give her a couple of days to adjust and if it's still a problem then I'll reduce the dose of anti anxiety meds. I don't want her to be doped up all the time. She usually has so much energy. But she seems real happy and content. She isn't even scratching as much!

So she's on the road to recovery!

Well worth the time and money to see her feeling better already! She might have to stay on the allergy meds forever...but if that keeps her happy and healthy I would gladly do it!

So today is a good day!

Ok...3rd day of meds....Redness and heat all gone from her skin. Weird smell she had is gone now too. Not much licking or scratching. Pretty dopey still though. Might consider cutting back on the anti anxiety meds soon. Give it a few more days. She ate her dinner last night and has been sleeping through the night again. So far so good!
