|  Tail feathers I am curious how many tail feathers each species has. Sun conures have 12 feathers arranged in a cone shape. | |||||||||||||||||||||

| Re: Tail feathers Macaws have 12 tail feathers (6 pairs). **They have 10 primary flight feathers 12 secondary flight feathers on each wing** Edited to add picture. This is the shape of the tail. Kady has two tail feathers that are growing in right now.  | |||||||||||||||||||||
