Hi all,

I went to the bird mart yesterday and we came home with a new little family member. She is a red belly. She is so cute and very friendly. She LOVES my daughter and climbs up to her shoulder and cuddles next to her neck. She is only 3 months old and the breeder told me she was semi-tame, but if she is any tamer than what she is right now she will just be a ball of feathered putty! She actually picked us out, especially my 9 year old daughter. Every time my daughter would walk up to the side of the cage this little bird would run over to greet her, it was so cute! My daughter named her Shilo. Sorry, no pictures yet I was too busy yesterday cleaning up her cage and getting her settled in, hopefully I will get some pics tonight and I can post them tomorrow - HOPEFULLY!

That is so special that you & your daughter got chosen - now I'm all jealous! - will have to go deal with that. Your daughter will have to set up her own membership here too. I hope their relationship last for a very long time.
