He is my baby black bird that comes twice a day for his wheat bread. Actually, he just stands in the back yard all the time and looks in at me. This morning when I opened the back door to let the dogs out he was 2 feet from the door on Ruby's stand perch. Just waiting patiently for me to get up! ha! I threw some on the stand and he just ate away. Maybe one day he will take it from my hand. Suppose I should go and disinfect her stand now. I really needed something else on my to-do list today!

I stopped leaving play stands outside because I couldn't keep up with the wild ones.
I do have an outside cage though. I always close the door when my birds aren't using it but, one day I forgot to close it and I had a blue jay in it.

I bet in time he'll become friendlier and friendlier.

Never fails whenever I have the birds out a little Hummingbird goes right in with them to visit their colorful toys looking for food!

You all have such fun - poor me. The only visitors we've had this year are Pigeons & the Hawk [although we don't feed them or encourage them either]

Poor you nothing!!!! You can paint the most beautiful bird pictures!!!! We don't feel sorry for you at all!
