Default Hummingbirds from NC

Our feeder has been really hit hard the past few days. I think it is the 100+ heat.

Here is a unique shot with a mayfly


Here is the male ruby throat on the way to the feeder


Rare shot with wings down


2 birds at the feeder - last night we had at least 8 or more of them swarming the feeder. It was unreal.

Thanks everyone. Jim is really having a lot of fun with the camera.

I think we are going to buy some sort of tripod. Right now he uses my 6 ft stepladder to steady himself.

JR they are really tiny. Last night it looked like a bunch of moths around the feeder. They are really fast too. Very difficult to capture in flight.
