Apparently the bird pictured is still loose out there somewhere, I have yet to read the bird was captured and helped.
I have to believe in my heart there are more "good" people than there are "bad".
Sadly I feel in the world of priorities, our law makers have there hands full and wildlife issues and animal abuse issues period are as always on the back burner.
I see there is a 2,000 reward for the person that is willing to help find the person that done this.
According to those that studies these issues, they claim a person that abuses animals turn there aggression unto humans eventually.
We make laws to govern this and that and a judge decides to give a lesser fine or what ever the penalty maybe.
Then folks frown on the activists that attend these court proceedings to assure the judge gives the maximum sentence.
According to the story, a little boy comes running into the house saying "mommy mommy!, can I take my BB gun out and shoot the bird in the barn?", the mother replies, "yes dear, go ahead".
The little boy shoots the last Passenger Pigeon and this bird is now stuffed at the Smithsonian Institute.
In my day, kids didn't take there daddy's gun to school and start killing others, what does this say about todays social fabrics?
One can throw morals and values right out the window!
One can only Pray and keep Hoping for changes to come.
