I wanted to post this video so you know what to look out for, as it is extremely uncomfortable for the bird and the process to eliminate whatever is causing it in their habitat should be done immediately.

My male red sided eclectus was also fed roudybush pellets before I got him. He developed toe tapping a few weeks after I got him, he was 7 months old then. I immediately remove pellets from his diet and just feed him fruits and vegies and the toe tapping stops.

It is painful to watch. I was exhausted watching my fid toe tap. I am glad your ekkie is OK now.

Thanks so much Missi!!! This vid is extremely helpful. I have never seen this happen in person and wasn't all that sure about exactly what to look for. Now I know.
